The course was extremely wet with a lot of standing water around. Ball plugged most of the time with little or no run. Bunkers flat and hard. Having said all that, a beautiful day, greens in great nick and a fun round with great friends. The course should not be judged at this time of year due to the adverse conditions. Bar meal afterwards great food and good value with friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Course very wet and greens very slow, but nice layout far too many bunkers for my liking!!

Very poor greens, hence the relatively cheap price of £15.
The course throws up some interesting challenges requiring a bit of thought rather than just smashing a driver at it like I usually do.

My first time at Tytherington. Really nice looking course but the greens were not fit for purpose today - like putting on a car park. One of the greenkeepers said it was a shame we had to play with the greens in this condition, which we agreed with. I would go back but at the same time I am glad I don't have to play here every week as it is a real challenge.

Tytherington Macclesfield Cheshire. Played with a number of guys from my place of work, the going was very slow. Some very demanding holes for a senior guy. Some up hill

they have a different price list for 2 fore 1 vouchers now so you dont actually save any money

good course had trouble with the buggie battery when flat on 12th hole had to push uphill no one came till 16th hole

Great course
Good course layout with some lovely looked after greens.Clubhouse looked new and a large patio outside.

Fabulous hotel and course, but not enough sand in the bunkers! Such an easy thing to solve. Since there are so many of them, one finds yourself in them quite frequently. But it's soooo frustrating and disappointing.

Played here for the first time. The course was in good condition generally, greens were rolling well. The bunkers need a little better maintenance but other than that an enjoyable round. Lovely clubhouse and good service. Would certainly recommend a round here.(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 82 Handicap: 7.2)

The tytherington is a lovely golf course that's well maintained and a real test of golf. The food was excellent and so we're all the staff.
