Tytherington is a really tough test of golf, especially in wet conditions. Every hole is an event that has to be 'managed'! Really enjoyable and looking forward to playing it again soon.

Played here for the second time on a Ryder Cup Golf Day Open Comp. Very enjoyable day with excellent service and organisation. Course played really well - lots of bunkers but good sand and well maintained. Good variety of holes in undulating tree-lined parkland-but not overly taxing. Scored 98 off 24 handicap.

I played the course for the second time today, having first played it in August 2013, when some remedial work had been done on the greens and they were quite bobbly. At the time I remember saying it would be a great course to play on once the greens were fixed and pleasingly today it was in great condition, and I only paid £13 for 18 holes on a lovely spring day!
It is a long and challenging course with loads of bunkers and a couple of water features that are just far enough from the tee to make them tough to drive beyond. It's in a lovely setting, very quiet and peaceful, no background noises other than the sound of golf shots and the odd anguished cry, and I'd heartily recommend it. You might not rack up your best ever score but you'll probably enjoy the walk and scenery.

Played on 12th may 2013, and despite the bad weather all week the course was in great condition, greens fairly quick and will only get better, one of the best courses in north west in my opinion, cant wait to play there again, would recommend to anyone.

Good course in great condition. Really quick greens and brilliant club facilities. Would not reccommend the course to people new to golf as it can be quite hard.

Considering the recent bad weather the course has been maintained to a great standard. We got a round at £20pp on a 2 for 1 rate & i must say this was fantastic value for money. The course was no doubt a challenge and we had to be on top form. When checking in at the club there was a very professional, friendly and energetic atmousphere. Its unusual to find staff so happy to serve you and make you feel so welcome. The pro shop is right next to the main reception and stocks a variety of top of the range items. We had a very nice breakfast from th bar before heading out for our game and even ventured in for a drink after our round. A pleasure to visit the Tytherington Club and we will definitley be paying a visit again.

i've played this course a couple of times and must say its well worth a visit, quite a long course but fairways and greens are spot on, the only negative i could say is that the hitting range is only suitable for irons, I played there one week and they had the jamega golf tour on that weekend, so if its good enough for them its good enough for me
