First class
Lucky enough to play this course recently. Considering we are in November, it was dry underfoot and the greens were in super condition. Pyramids on the range for a warm up was a nice touch and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.Reviewer Rating

What a test!
A thrillign layout, I nevere tire of coming here.The course testrs all facets of your game, and I am really surprised how much I find the change of flag positions most challenging!

Seriously good!
This has to be one of the best courses I've played. The picturesque landscape and hole layout are simply stunning. The course was immaculate with the greens being well maintained and a serious challenge.I will 100% be returning..... it's a fabulous course.

A beautiful golf course with lots of different type of holes, Picturesque and in great condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful and all in a great atmosphere. Can't rate it enough.

Excellent course

I just love this Course. I played at the end of February and considering the time of year its in great condition. Looking at reviews what's interesting is everyone has different favourite holes for me its 3 and 17. The staff are always friendly and the bacon baps good so happy days.

Played here late on a Sunday afternoon as was staying in the hotel it's connected to just down the road. Excellent service in that they got me on at short notice and the chap in the pro shop was very helpful before I went out taking time to talk to me about the course and a few of the more memorable holes. The course itself is stunning and one of the best I've played. It appears to be laid out over a considerable area and there are some serious walks both up and down between some of the holes as it's built in and around the natural contours of the land around Castle Coombe. I'm reactively fit and healthy but I was shattered by the time I came off the course having walked and carried it, so if you're a little less mobile, get a buggy. No hole on the course was boring and each one presents some king of challenge. My favourites would be the 8th which is a drivable par 4 downhill and the 17th which is a downhill par 3 and the signature hole it seems. The latter plays 30 yards less than it's 130 yards off the yellows. I couldn't really buy a putt all day but the greens were excellent and the rest of the course was also in good nick if a little muddy on some fairways as I think there'd been quite a bit of recent rain. It didn't however detract from the course and I would play it again without hesitation given the opportunity. Also represented excellent value at £30 at twilight on a weekend.

The best course I've played in the UK, no two holes are the same, the course is picturesque beyond belief and challenging for all levels. The presentation and quality of the course is fantastic, I can't wait to go back.

What a cracking course!
So many interesting holes (for interesting read difficult/quirky/wow) with great greens and a very friendly team in the pro shop and clubhouse.
Definitely a club I will re-visit.
Definitely get a buggie! Its hilly with some good walks between greens and tees - but well worth it.
