Chippenham Golf Club
The Club, founded in 1896, has gone through many changes in its history. Today, the undulating parkland course offers golfers a fine test without being 'heavy' on yardage. We are very proud of our course maintenance, particularly the greens which have been recently described as “among the best in Wiltshire” by the Wiltshire County Secretary. You will find narrow fairways with small well bunkered greens. The 1st hole has been described as the toughest 'opener' in the county, so do not be fooled by the yardage which is highly deceptive due to elevation change. Contact Information

Greens were good, course feels 'squeezed' in, you have to be careful where you walk or risk getting hit from blind tees. Clubhouse from the 70's. Friendly staff though in pro shop and bar.

The course is quite tight, and any wayward shots can land you in trouble. Chippenham is in the process of finishing a new part of the course which is due to open sometime this year. They are also having a new Club house built.
