The Chase Golf Club
The Course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland course and whilst first impressions may give rise to the belief that this is a rather benign course, play reveals a very challenging 6641 yards off the White tees. There are forward tees with the Yellow Course measuring 6395 yards and a measured winter course of 5163 yards.
The holes offer a great deal of variety. There are 4 very challenging par 5’s to test the golfers long game and concludes with our signature par 3 18th hole which includes a particularly intimidating water hazard, out-of-bounds to the right and a small elevated green. Not a lot for a golfer to aim for but enough to break your round at the very death. All this within full view of fellow golfers enjoying a relaxing time in The Clubhouse!
Whilst water only comes into play on 2 of the holes, strategically placed bunkers and rough can catch wayward shots so there is a premium on keeping the ball straight. The frequent windy conditions make this a most interesting course to play.Contact Information

With the introduction of the new Spa and gym, this golf club is also benefiting from cosmetic building work around the course, giving it that clean and polished look.
The greens have been greatly improved and now receive the ball with grip and accuracy.
A young course that is improving every year, thanks to the members and owners.

long @ 6400 yards par 72, testing but fair with heavy rough areas but decent sized landing areas off the tee. greens were fast and generally flat with the odd 2 tier. this course is a ball strikers course, where you wont find many curling 4 footers, but lots of ten foot straight putts. Some well placed water and bunkers adds to the tests.

A course to suit all levels though if you are under a 10 handicap it may not be that challenging?
Course was well kept with good consistant greens, one of those well designed courses that can be as challenging as you want to make it.
Shame about the smell!!!!
I presume it was a near by sewage works? The Course

The Chase is still maturing as a course as some of the trees are still small which will usually provide a large target area off the tee. It is however a long course and demands concentration all the way round. The greens can however differ in speed from one to the next. Overall though excellent value for money.

A well-kept and managed course but lacking a real signature hole or similar features. Quite forgiving and only one real water hazard. Some good views but internal scenery limited. Landscape quite flat. Good clubhouse and good food. Friendly staff.
