A first class course, winter rate great value. Weather very kind back nine can be very difficult when the wind blows.

Golf course review of Sherwood Forest Golf Club

Now this is a cracking course, offering a good ballance of distance accuracy and is excellently prepared. Our golf club always has a day out here due to popular demand, and due to it's sheer quality. Be prepared for some good length par 4's on the back 9, one after the other. So you need a good strike of the ball together with good accuracy also. Greens are very well prepared, true, fast and good to hold a strong approach.

good course from memory. Shot an excellenty score vs my playing partners but I think its pricey. Green roll is very quick so you have to be a good putter and i'm not thee bad. A real golfers test

Excellent course - One of the best I've ever played, up there with Woodall Spa. Every hole is different and the greens are superb. Its a tough test though! Off the whites pots its a par of 71 but sss 74.
