This course is a very forgiving course ,I persume it will be a bit more challenging in the summer when it is playing its full length

Played this course end of November 2011. The course was in excellent condition for the time of year, full tees in use, grassy non muddy fairways and worthy greens. You could see the greens had been recently aerated (other reviews note this) but were in good condition all things taken into account.
Clubhouse and facilities were nice and welcoming and the staff were all extremely friendly, especially so given they had recently been through a very busy spell after a high use of a Groupon deal.
The range is also very good with good use of a target system to encourage juniors but also the rest of use with some effective practice!
A great all round venue and worthy of a round any time of the year.

Very helpful in the pro shop. Great course and the members were all very friendly. The clubhouse was very inviting and served a great carvery.

Played it this week in a society meeting. Worst I've seen it for years. Greens are sooooo slow. fairways patchy. In its defence its normally not too bad in the summer. Good beginners courses because the course is so wide open. Cant lose a ball, apart from on 16th par 3 with water in front , nice hole.
Think I'll wait for next summer to come back.

Played this course last night...despite the darkness creeping in last few holes everything about this course was fantastic Greens were superb and at £15 from tee off times a real bargain!...Travelled from Doncaster to the course and is certainly one of the best I have played recently and that includes some of the supposedly more prestigios courses in the area.

The course is very well kept and the greens were in excellent condition. The service and facilities at the club are excellent and the club members were very welcoming. A round can be a little pricey here though but there are often many national discount schemes that can be taken advantage of.

Recently played this track with group of mates on a tour which included the highest rated course in Notts. This is the one for me. One of the best you'll ever play at a sensible price and the staff are friendly too - what more would you want? Ideal for societies!

The greens where in poor condition compared to similar courses in the area. The course location and layout is very nice. Worth a visit in the summer when the greens are better and justify the summer green fees
