I would visit Leen Valley Golf Club at Hucknall value for money since the new owners took over and an excellent club house with fantastic food.

this course needs some TLC
at the moment the greens are not up to scratch And the fairways need a good cut ,however value for money excellent £8.70 for 18 holes

This club offers the opportunity to do 9 holes or 18 holes ,the cost of £5 for 9 holes,and £7.80 for 18 holes has to be the best value around.the course is fairly well maintained and the facilities are excellent .

SPEND YOUR £8 GOING AROUND JACK BARKERS FAMILY GOLF CENTRE IN MANSFIELD INSTEAD. STAFF ARE NOTHING BUT ARROGANT ON A GLORIFIED PITCH AND PUTT WHICH IS WOODHOUSE GOLF CLUB. IT IS THE SAME PRICE FOR 18 AT MANSFIELD GOLF CENTRE AND THAT IS A PROPER 18 HOLER

further to my previous review. I went to the golf course today with my two sons and a friend. My sons are aged 6 and 8. it would have been a treat for them after finishing school to come round a golf course with their dad and family friend. The attitude and arrogance of the owner of the club was something to behold, instead of politely saying that my kids couldn't go round for insurance purposes ( even though no-one would be insured on this glorified pitch and putt anyway) he tried to rent me clubs because somehow that made it that my kids are insured. Then told me to go and take them to play football instead. I thought that golf isn't supposed to be an elitist sport. I personally will never go there again.

great course for a beginner. Just be careful of the fishermen on the 7th hole. I know some who have been hit.

9 Hole course which can be played through twice in succession to get in your full 18.

Very short (less than 5000yds) with no Par 5's and no individual hole over 400 yds so ideal for learners (like me!) although some fairways are rather narrow resulting in wayward drives often being punished.

Course condition isn't great, although I have only played this course during winter, and at a mere £7.80 for 18 holes you get what you pay for. It makes it a good course to pay inbetween 'proper' 18 holers.

the greens and fairway's are very well kept. good size par 3 and 4 course. very good for the beginner.

Good small 9 hole course for little practise plays. the rough however is VERY rough so expect lossing a few balls!
