Well designed testing course

Great course, very well designed and interesting layout. Lots of interest from the contours, raised greens, elevated tees playing over valleys, sharp doglegs, sloping greens etc. Fairways were obviously parched from the recent hot spell but greens well watered. This course is quite testing for the high handicapper mainly because of the large number of bunkers which are strategically placed. Also it's very up and down so good exercise on a hot day when carrying bag. I played on a Sunday afternoon and had the course to myself on the front nine before getting stuck behind some hotel guests on the back nine. Nice finish in front of the grand old Victorian hotel.

tough challenge for a 20 + handicapper

great value stunning setting in the Surrey hills
lots of positive improvements to greens and fairways

Sick Day Cup With Goose
