What the club says: The Course, 6404 yards, par 71, SSS 72, was designed by J.H.Taylor and Fred Hawtree in 1930, and is well known for its variety of demanding holes through wooded glades and picturesque parkland. Set in the grounds of Addington Palace, the previous home of Archbishops of Canterbury, we boast consistently well-manicured greens throughout the year. The course provides an interesting challenge for high and low handicap golfers alike.

Undulating, mature course in superb condition. Greens are firm and fast, but still receptive to a well-struck shot.

Broadly, the front nine is tighter than the back, yet there is still plenty of variety in each loop.

Traditional clubhouse with a fine welcome, along with a lovely courtyard to sit and soak up the sunshine after the round.

Well worth playing more than once to appreciate the design and to better understand positioning off the tee.

Played here for the first time. Good deal via teeofftimes at £20 post 12pm. Really enjoyable course. Plenty of variety in the course and some decent views across London at the higher points of the course. Course in good condition and well worth playing. Will be back for another round soon.

Had the summer special for £35.00 and totally enjoyed it. The course is in amazing condition, the greens are so honest and pure. What a lovely walk in fantastic surroundings. the front 9 are quite tight but lovely holes, the back 9 is more open but with danger in places. This really is a GEM. members very friendly, food really nice with good friendly staff. shot 78 handicap 6....

Played here yesterday and couldn\'t have asked for a better experience from the course to the dinner in the evening. The management and staff couldn\'t have done more to welcome and look after us(all 50+ off us society boys/girls). Tough layout with tight first nine the greens were hard and true. It was tough to get the ball to check and stop.

Top, Top course and playing off the Whites with a member is a real test for any golfer.
everyhole is different and you need to be a good ball striker and putter to have a good 18 holes.
Clubhouse is traditional and excellent and the food choice and quality is first class.
IMO a must play for anyone who loves golf and worth every penny!! (Round played: May 2014 - Score: 90 Handicap: 15.2)

This has to be one of the best golf clubs to play all year round as the condition of the course is fantastic even after the heavy rain we have had so far this year. the greens are fantastic and i dont think you will find better at courses that charge 3 or 4 times more than they do at the addington palace. Clubhouse facilities are excellent and always get a warm welcome from the members which i have become to know quite well. (Round played: Jan 2014 - Score: 85 Handicap: 15.3)

Brilliant course with the best greens I've played on. Tight tree lined on the front 9, but opens up on the back 9 - overall a gem of a course that is in my opinion under rated. Friendly feel to it as well with a well stocked pro shop and brilliant putting green. A must play in Surrey (Round played: Jul 2012 - Score: 104 Handicap: 21.6)

Great course with amazing greens - bit pricey though. I've been looking to play it recently but found it hard to get on with any value. i.e no 2 fore 1's, twilight rates. Great course though
