Seacroft

Fantastic course and very challenging in the easterly wind, greens very fast and undulating which made putting very interesting.

The course was Recommended to me by the pro at my home course in Sheffield & I played today, May 1st. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. A great links course which is both challenging but fair. £25 for twilight after 3pm.

Score 91. Handicap 20.

Seacroft golf course is a real delight. A typical seaside links course in first class condition. It has undulating fairways, challenging bunkers and fast but interesting greens with lots of subtle borrows, more than enough to keep golfers on their toes. Club house facilities are lovely with a very good range of quality food for all occasions at very fair prices. This course is the jewel in the crown of Lincolnshire golf, well worth a drive to the coast.

Absolutely tremendous golf course and in very good condition. Very true and fast greens. Played on a Sunday (early afternoon) and more or less had the course to ourselves. With all the wind farms in the distance obviously experiences windy conditions. Fortunately for us there was hardly a breath of wind, which would have made it interesting! Some great par 3's and very testing par 4's. I would definitely return to this course.

Fantastic and challenging links course, there really are no gimme holes, especially when the wind blows. Plenty of par fours that play as fives to the average club golfer when the wind is against. Unusual in that 7 of the first 8 holes are par fours then you go 5,3,5,3,5,3 with 4 x 4s to finish. Personal favourites were the par 5 9th and 13th, real 3 shot holes where you need to play strategically, oh and the first as I managed to birdie that - you can only go downhill from there.

Despite an extremely windy day I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would certainly revisit it if I was again in that area. The staff in particular the lady behind the bar went the extra mile to be helpful and provide food for 8 of us
after we had finished our round which was quite late..

Played 16th & 17th Jan 2015, the course was in excellent condition and the greens were superb. All the members were very friendly, the pro was very helpful and the catering staff were spot on. The food was perfectly presented and tasted great, highly recommend the all-day breakfast and the fish & chips. Thanks again, best £30 i have ever spent!

Loved this course. Although you can't see the sea much on this links course, the greens are tricky and offer a real challenge. I probably loved this course more than others because I scored well on it. Would love to go back.

Played the course as a society for a full week, Greens in great nick very true with great roll. The fairways were just starting to brown slightly in places due to the excellent weather, the wind changes made for a very enjoyable test of golf. This course is right up there with some of the so called top links courses. The bar staff at the 19th hole made us very welcome with a smile never far away, only down side was the attitude of a few members towards the staff, dont realise how lucky they are.
