Hunstanton Golf ClubHunstanton links is a classic 'out and back' design, on either side of a central spine or dune ridge. The 12th, 13th and 14th holes play across this ridge. The new 18th, also on the seaward side, is equally difficult! In 1971 and 2002-4, new bunkering was introduced on 8 of the holes, making Hunstanton, from the back tees and with the usual breezes, a tough but exhilarating test of golfing skill.

Golf course review of Hunstanton Golf Club

I played here for the first time in July 2010 on a warm but windy day. I have only been playing about a year but found it excellent.

Unlike the other review I found the people at the club house very welcoming, great bar food and facilities. Yes it was expensive but well worth it in my view.

Golf course review of Hunstanton Golf Club

Well its a links course - is there much more to say other than pray the wind blows in the right direction and you manage to hit the fairway.....

If you're there on the wrong day you'll probably find you spend most of the time looking for balls in the long rough.

Was disappointed that they charged my £60 and didn't tell me they'd just spiked all the greens - bit out of order!

Honestly - probably wouldn't be on the list of revisits - over priced and obviously don't really want visitors there....
