Very kind links course, you could miss a fairway and have still make shots to the greens. Some really good holes, the 7th Par 4 which is a blind second shot beside the road (that loads go over/onto), the 8th all along the side of the road, where you need to land close to the road to be able to see the green and the Par 5 9th, again with a green beside the road. Greens were fairly slow but quite true.
The club staff were wonderful and very friendly indeed. £30 for 18 holes and a Full English Breakfast, great deal!

Tight course with some interesting blind shots. Bunkers are deep but placed sensibly and have adequate sand to allow decent shots to be made. Enjoyed the course

6 of us Played seacroft on april 30th. My first taste of links golf. I thouroughly enjoyed the course and the day.
The greens were in excellent condition and ran very true.
Luckily I only had to play out of 1 bunker. However, it was quite daunting as I could barely see over the lip so I guess it was approx. 6 foot deep!!. Some of our party weren't so lucky and had a few problems getting out on occasions, to much amusement in the bar afterwards..........
We paid £48 each which most of the group found a bit on the expensive side. I think this was more due to being surrounded at home by excellent courses such as the warwickshire, stonebridge, Hellidon lakes to mention a few where tee times can either be booked on-line or with vouchers making them a lot more reasonable £15 - £20 ish. I personally didn't mind paying the price as it was a one off for a golf break. However, we had such a good weekend there was talk on returning next year.
I would definately recommend the course for all playing abilities although if the day was particulary windy (we were quite lucky on that score) the course could be very tricky for higher handicaps. The Course

Wow I love links golf! Just fantastic... worth the trip to Skegness alone. New facilities with no car park so don't be put off by first appearances. However, like many classic old links courses it was 9 out in a straight line and 9 back... fortunately there was no wind for us otherwise 100+ scores were likely. Brilliant - worth every penny!
