What the club says: An on-going programme of improvements have turned this 6,515-yard Par 72 course into one of the most challenging and best-kept in Nottinghamshire.
The attractive parkland course, which has water hazards in play on eight holes, has also grown into a haven for wildlife - including a pair of resident swans. The fact that all 18 holes provide a different challenge undoubtedly adds to the interest yet the course can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. As each year goes by, the trees grow and the greens develop their own identity, so the degree of difficulty increases noticeably.

The bunkers could use more sand in them as it was difficult to splash the ball out.
Only real negative was the hold up of following 2 players sharing a bag and a 4 on ball sharing 2 bags
There was also someone practicing chipping on the putting green

The signage from greens to the next tee leaves a lot to be desired in places to visitors playing for the first time.

Lovely
Course generally in great condition. Two of the holes fairways were out of play because of the recent bad weather, holes 15 and 18. Saying that only the 18th was cut into a par 3 but we still played as a par 4Reviewer Rating

Great time
Loved the visit, breakfast in the club was very good. met some of the members on the practice putting green and they invited me to join them. Perfect start to the day.Greens in excellent condition, fairways overall for the time of year very good
Some of the rough was a little heavy, but considering the weather in the last few months, understandable
Overall, I had a great time and can't wait to visit again

Great place
Excellent location, greens really good. Rough a bit long if you venture into it. Lovely bacon roll before start then refreshing pint on the patio afterwardsReviewer Rating
