Not the toughest coarse in the world and if you hit a decent enough drive you can only have a wedge into a par 4 green on 6 or 7 of the holes.The coarse is tree lined with many bunkers but most are avoidable with a good shot and good coarse management.The coarse is in good condition although the fairways are patchy in places ,we booked on tee of times and paid £22.00 each on a thursday morning which is about the right price.

A loverly course with tree's lining most fairway's and bunkers everywhere, you almost forget your in the heart of Romford.Its a tricky course but fair,if you keep to the fairway's and out of the numerous bunkers you can shoot a good score(easier said than done).Its normally £35.00 during week but we booked online and got it for a bargin £17.50 half price and at that price will definately be going back.The par 3s i like a lot most tree lined so you need to be straight,and hole 13 is a monster 209 yards, if into the wind you have no chance of hitting it.

Good Course, worth a visit
Considering the amount of rain in the days before we played the course was in playable condition and the greens held.(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 10.9)

The course is in great shape, greens a tad slow but very true.Couple of fairways with crow damage but in general it’s in beautiful condition

Could be so much better
Fairways are woolly, rough is penal, uneven lengths and generally looks unkempt. Bunkers are unloved and more than a few have grass growing in them. The greens however, are fantastic, so you can see where the money has been spent. The rest leaves a bad taste and needs putting right quickly if Romford is to maintain it's reputation.The club house is old style and the welcome is always warm. Food is terrific
