Romford Golf Club
The hardest hole on the course is the par 4 fourteenth, standing at a massive 455 yards this hole requires two well struck shots and then a well played pitch and a solid putt to scramble a par. The course also has an elegant mix of par 3’s, two over 190 yards and a relatively short 135yard hole on the sixth.

Not the toughest coarse in the world and if you hit a decent enough drive you can only have a wedge into a par 4 green on 6 or 7 of the holes.The coarse is tree lined with many bunkers but most are avoidable with a good shot and good coarse management.The coarse is in good condition although the fairways are patchy in places ,we booked on tee of times and paid £22.00 each on a thursday morning which is about the right price.

A very olf club and course. Traditional. Course overlaps in to many places (Tees and Greens) and some start on the 1st, some on the 10th and can get very busy even though you are half way around. Quite narrow in places as a course, but fair. Will I go again?- not for a few years I don't think.

Playing the junior open in May was tough. There had been a lot of rain and the bunkers were basically water hazards. For the tournament, the ruling was that you could have relief within the bunker but if you couldn't drop in the bunker, then you could drop outside for one penalty shot. Tht's how I lost my shot on the 1st! Overall, I loved the variety of holes and I thought it was in good nick considering the weather.
