I played this on an afternoon with an Amazon voucher and was very impressed with the course, do not be fooled by the short yardage, virtually every hole is a dog leg and the vast majority are tree lined, the greens were very quick especially as we had drizzly rain for the first 9 holes.

On of Surrey's gems

I've been trying to play hear for some time but weather and covid caused cancellations.

Weather was kind but course played a little long due to the soft fairways. Greens were in good condition and played true but beware there are some tricky slopes on them.

Clubhouse is very nice and all the staff and members were very friendly.

First time round this course today in a Seniors match and loved it. It seemed a masterpiece of planning with some really interesting holes and very much having to think your way round. I did hit a driver, but you have to hit it straight as most fairways are tree lined. The 17th was a little strange with a blind shot to the green, but otherwise a wonderful course. Halfway house was excellent as was dinner in the clubhouse. Can't help but give it a good review as I played well. 83 off a handicap of 17…:-)

Would definitely want to play again.

Course was in excellent condition A little short of the yellows but the whites is a strong challenge with some narrow tee-shots on the back 9. The greens are extremely tricky.

Greens in very good condition. Driver only needed on three or four occasions. interesting holes which required the use of most clubs in the bag sooner or later. We made use of an Amazon deal which brought the cost down significantly. Wouldn\'t have felt it good value for the full cost of green fee which i believe is around the £50 mark. £30 would seem appropriate to me. Staff were very welcoming both in the clubhouse and the pro shop. Downside for me was the second which has a cricket pitch to the left (we played Sunday afternoon). Spectators were well within my pulled shot range. 17th runs parallel to a busy road to the left. Once again well within my range for a pulled shot. Course wasn't as narrow as i expected and the holes seem to improve as you move through the round. You'll need to consider your tee shots carefully. Big distance won't always work on this course.

Played here in late May and the course was easily the most visually stunning I have ever played. Tree lined, undulating with fantastic views. The course was in superb condition with both fairways and greens immaculate. This course is definitely a step up in class from your average course.

Although not that long, it's very very difficult as if you miss a fairway your ball is dead and the hole is over. Accuracy is a must and top tip is put the driver away. I used it far too much and it cost me

Interesting course in good condition. Fairways a little patchy in places but greens very good and fairly fast. Short course, but tightness and number of trees adds to the challenge, with no two holes being the same or even particularly similar. We enjoyed playing there and would definitely return.

An incredibly attractive course so typical of the top woodland/heathland courses that are found in Surrey. Every hole is framed by a varied selection of holes with the occasional hole enjoying a tree slap bang in the middle of the fairway!

The course is short but such is the tightness of many holes that it takes a brave or foolish player to reach for the driver unless you are totally comfortable with the big stick.

Greens are fast, fairway is dry and consisitant despite a hideous winter.

Overall, the views and general ambience is fantastic and it is a course I am happy to recommend to others of all levels.

Great course

Played today at an Open event as find the normal green fees too expensive. Despite the rain, course in very good condition and only a couple of holes on the back 9 muddy. Nice variety and challenge with some holes easier than others! Great halfway hut and great value.
