An excellent course that demands a very good level of course management. Easy to get into trouble with wayward drives but can be negotiated by all standards of Golfers. Great value for money with mid week offers always available.

Nice course with some good holes. The par 3 17th is the prettiest hole on the course and probably out of character with the other 17, which are generally far more open.
Not sure what to make about the 18th hole, where you have two options from the tee across a lake between two gaps in the trees opposite. Even the shorter gap can be a round breaker on a windy day.

Milford lulls the average golfer into a false sense of security as the 17th and 18th can ruin a decent score. The 17th is a short par 3 over water and the tee shot from the 18th demands a good tee shot over a fairly long carry over water to find the fairway. Some of the fairways do not drain very quickly after spells of heavy rain and on one occasion some fairways were not playable and in my opinion the course was unplayable.

Lovely course and a lot nicer than expected. Greens were in exceptional condition and were very true .... be prepared to 3 putt though as they are all very undulating.
The tee shot on the 18th is tougher than anything I've played at Celtic Manor, Brabazon etc !!

On first play I found the course fairly straightfwd. There are some some good holes but a few weak ones, particularly with the yellow tees in advanced positions on occasions. In decent condition for early March although the greens were grooved in places (a form of tining). The 18th is a good finishing hole. I look forward to returning and playing in Summer conditions.

In excellent condition and many interesting holes. The par 3's ask plenty of questions and most par 4's have a dog leg although if you drive the ball well the wedge will be choice of club for the 2nd shot quite a few times. Still, worth a round, wouldn't put people off spending there money for a round here.

Milford is an excellent course. No overly long, but you are rewarded with straightness. Lots of trouble left and right, especially with the long grass in the summer. Very friendly club, and well worth a visit. Usually have twilight and 2:1 deals available.
