Hurtmore Golf Club
This 18 hole pay and play course, which opened in 1992 was originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark. The 5,530 yards of golf course provides challenges all the way through the 18 holes you play. Several lakes provide plenty of interest along the way and the well placed bunkers catch the errant shots that all golfers commit at times!

Started our round at 0800. Everything was going good. Until we reached the 10th. Where we got stuck behind a queue from a society starting on the 10th.
The people in the pro shop were friendly and very helpful. Where as the staff in the restaurant all seemed very moody. Saying that though, the breakfast was good.

As a group of 4 golfing nomads, trying to find somewhere to play on a Saturday morning is difficult and expensive. Found this place a couple of weeks ago and it is a joy to play, great greens, great location and a GREAT price. £20 on a Saturday morning and not held up once, round in 3.5 hours what more do you want?
Hurtmore and Lullingstone are up their on their own as the best pay and play for me.The Course

Nice little course, water coming into play on a few holes, not overly long but some holes prove a challenge.

Fairly open course that would probably appeal to higher handicappers. Most of the holes are fairly short with one or two exceptions, the main exception being the 3rd which is a long par 4.
Good greens, reasonable green fees and a decent clubhouse. The Course

A nice course although a little on the short side with at least 5 par 4's reachable in 1! Good opportunity for big points but the course/greens were in great nick and was very enjoyable.

Greens are a joy to play on. We played just before 3 o clock on weekend and only paid £15 for 18 holes. Some par 4 you can make the green with driver but overall this course is very very good

Having not played here for about ten years, I was surpirsed how well the course had matured. Even in the torrential rain that we played the first ten holes in, the greens held up well and ran true. Apart from the very, very slow pairs competition in front of us, this round was very enjoyable. A bit short for longer hitters but I would recommend for a society outing to suit all handicaps.
