Excellent value for money
Played last week and was not disappointed. Some very interesting holes and a lot of undulation means shots are varied. The greens were in great condition and rolling very quick. I paid £36 for a two ball so definitely represents good valueReviewer Rating

Good value for money
Good test for average handicapped player, especially in the wind. If your playing rubbish, just enjoy the views over Portsmouth and IOW.Reviewer Rating

Always enjoyable - course of two halves
Always enjoy visiting this course - definitely two completely different halves, both enjoyable and challenging. We didn't have the greatest weather to start with but they offer a rain off refund.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 100 Handicap: 27.2)

A gem of a course with some great golf holes and stunning views.
This course is very hilly, so for somebody like me, who plays of flat courses it was a good test. If you have the ability to shape your tee shots you should have a good day out at this course. The green were fair for this time of year. They did look OK, but I had trouble getting the pace of them! Tees, fairways and bunkers were all OK. The bunkers did have stones in them, but being on top of a hill I assume they are there to help stop the sand blowing away! They do have a practice are but it's a bit of a walk from the clubhouse. Two nets and a practice putting green outside the clubhouse. I really enjoyed this course, some very interesting holes. I especially liked the 6th, tight tee shot for a dog leg right hole, the 8th, dogleg right with a downhill shot to the green and the 13th, interesting par 4 with a large copse of trees in the middle of the fairway!
The golf reception is very small with a very limited supply of golf accessories. There is a small café area and a bar upstairs, which has a balcony overlooking the 18th green. The staff were helpful and friendly.
I payed £12 for 2pm tee off time on a Sunday afternoon, absolute well worth playing this course if you are in the area.
