Pavenham Park Golf Club
Pavenham, Bedfordshire, MK43 7PE United Kingdom
This challenging par 72, 18-hole golf course measures 6,467 yards off the Tiger Tees and sits in the middle of the Bedfordshire countryside, providing spectacular views of the surrounding villages and woodlands.
Ten years ago, course designer Derek Young teamed up with Managing Director Zac Thompson with the vision to create a course through the grounds of the old Manor. Today, a decade later, the course is maturing and the holes themselves are becoming increasingly more defined and challenging.Book a Tee Time

An established parkland course with several tricky greens and a couple of testing par 3's

A parkland course with extensive views over surrounding countryside and an abundance of wildlife. Testing par 3's and dog - leg par 5's are the main features interspersed with relatively straightforward holes to give the golfer some respite. The main downside to this course is that the front nine is harder than the back.

Great greens, need to be straight to score well. percentage rather than length.

We have corp membership for this course and play most weeks.
Very new course and has lots more growing to be done there. The greens as has been stated are hard. But it helps you to learn to putt better. First 9 holes are harder than the last 9. Lot more open and wind can affect them as well. Last 9 more picturesque.
All in all, great course.

The greens are like glass. On the green in 2....and 5 putts. The ball often was on the way to the hole to within 2 feet and then it came right back down again to the exact spot you originally puted from. For uphill putts it is best to putt long and then risk a down hill putt on the way back. Not really an enjoyable way to play golf

Played the course 2 days before their Club Championships as a guest of the Beds County Golf Union. The greens were about as slick as they can get. Front nine greens are more tricky than back nine, and in some cases it is impossible to keep the ball on the green if your first putt misses the hole (i.e.at 1st, 4th, 5th and 8th). In a Medal on the day before we played, a member hit the first green in 2 and walked off with a 13!!! That's not golf - they need to keep the grass a bit longer to let the balls hold the greens.

Front nine more difficult got to have a good short game ,back nine more gently. Friendly staff and nice new clubhouse with balconies overlooking the 1st, 9th and 18th and views of local countryside Well worth a visit

despite having recently burnt down their club house this course is a good test for all levels - the back tees make some of the tee shots interesting to say the least - Local knowledge seriously helps on some holes as its not always clear exactly where the hole goes from the tee. Greens are average to good for this time of the year. If you don't like putting maybe not one for you as some of the greens have some challenging slopes!!!

Overpriced for a not very exciting course. It is well maintained, but nothing memorable.

The course in general was in good condition however there are very few hole guides at the tees on each hole so, having not played the course before, it meant 4 or 5 tee shots into the unknown in terms of hazards. Also signposting some of the less obvious tees would help for those new to the course.
The course is now £60 for a weekend round which is too much for the standard of the course in my opinion but they do take 2-fore-1 vouchers at the weekends so there is no need to pay £60. Visitors can just turn up at weekends as no booking is allowed for visitors but the course was not very busy when I played (probably because I played early on Captains day so maybe people were starting later than normal).
A good fry up in the friendly clubhouse finished off a good morning. Would go back but only armed with a 2-fore-1 voucher!
