Bedfordshire Golf Club
Formerly known as the Biddenham Golf Club.
The 18 Hole Championship Course provides a challenge to golfers of all abilities. It was designed by Cameron Sinclair, who is famous for designing exciting golf courses which make the most of the natural terrain. Created in the 1990's when the club moved from its home of 100 years nearby, the course has matured amazingly well. The course benefits from indigenous woodland along its full length of one side and within its central area. In addition it boasts many beautiful oak trees dotted around the landscape.
The Par 3 'Academy' Course makes a challenging but fun short course for golfers of all levels. For the more experienced player it is ideal for practicing your short game, whilst for inexperienced golfers it can help build the self confidence needed to take on the main course. There are eight Par 3 holes and one Par 4 hole to finish.Contact Information

I've been a member here at The Bedfordshire since October 2010 having been a member of the Academy course, I decided to try the 'Real thing' The course is fantastic, very well maintained, every hole a challenge and the greens can really test your putter. The front nine is great, you get the feeling of ' Yep this isn't so bad' although the first tee is very daunting with the 2 oak trees right infront of you! but the back nine is a whole different ball game, and you really need to be on top of your Drive. The fairways can catch you out as they run with the lie of the land. Two water hazards are waiting for you on the 14th par 5 and 15th par 3. On the whole a great course which never seems to play the same. The wind is a major factor on the course though, and if you play there a lot like I do, its something that you quickly have to get used to. Great pro shop with a 24 bay floodlit driving range. Club house with great food. What more could you ask for !!

Very hilly and when windy it is impossible to get any rythm as you are with it for one hole and against it for the other.

The course can be quite windy at times as it is fairly open. Most of the course is ondulated and this can be quite challenging, so the right club selection becomes very important. Fairways are quite wide and open and greens are in excellent conditions.
An excellent course that challenges all handicap's.The Course

Excellent test for all handicap's. Course is rather exposed and wind plays a big part on most of the course so you have to take this on board. Greens are very true as in you get what you see, so read them right and you will be ok. Only criticism is the sand in the bunkers is not the best.

The Golf Club is "The Bedfordshire", which used to be based at the oldest course in the County, so the course is quite new, but well built and designed. It will be a few years before the newly planted trees are less obvious. Greens are usually fast and true. I've only played the course from the back tees in official County Competitions, from which it's a good test.

Quite a new course to replace the oldest golf course in Bedfordshire, where the Club originally started it's life. Also has a par 3 course which is apparently quite testing (I've not played it). A fair test of your golfing ability, but, being quite new, it will take some years to show it's real potential.
