Great fast greens. Challenging places for bunkers. Blind holes, very challenging!!!

The course was in glourious sunshine and the greens were very well kept along with the fairways. the rough was long but the first ans second cut was well kept and not easy to lose the odd way-would tee shot.
Overall very good experience.

Located within a residential section of Harrogate, this course has some fairly challenging holes, some well placed hazards and a few holes to build your confidence. The clubhouse overlooks holes 1, 9, 10 and 18 and sits gracefully atop the most difficult walking hill on the whole course! Staff are excellent, service is well above average and the small pro shop is very helpful and friendly. No driving range here, only a practice area.

Loveley course although if you've got one leg shorter than the other you might have an advantage on some holes. Greens are good and there are some short but interesting par 4s and 5s. There are also some testing elevated tees. The 10th is a tough dog leg left with out of bounds if you go too far strag=ight and end up on the driving range (no good for my slice!) Fantastic clubhouse and facilities although some of the members can be a bit snobby.
