Very disappointed with the course. The fairways were in very poor condition - probably the worst I've ever seen at a golf club in fact. The rough was not maintained to any standard either.
The course also seems to play shorter than some of the distances billed? It seems hard to believe that this could be true but both myself and my playing partner thought this at times.
Although not overly expensive for central London I was disappointed given some of the positive reviews I had read before playing.

tight tee times
bad timing. had to let 7x2balls through as ladies match play competition caught us up as we had a slow 4ball in front of us(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 15.2)

Thank goodness I had my Middlesex membership to hand & paid ?20. Worth it for the greens but the fairways & surrounds were in a shocking condition. No clue how that came about. Course has been in a reasonable condition n the past perhaps wet & boggy in places. Maybe that's why there so many irrigation channels. Will see how this looks next spring.Reviewer Rating

Decent London track with great greens. Pretty easy if you drive it well but tricky if your don't

Played 9th September 2016. Course in good condition although some of the fairways were a little bare in places, and the greens had a lot of grass on them and were a little slow.

Recently introduced to this lovely course set amongst a residential district with houses all round the course. Though once on the course you would not think you are in a city. The course played very well with some challenging narrow holes. Although the clubhouse is well furnished it is impossible to grab a snack after a round of golf beyond 5pm midweek and after 6pm weekends. Very disapointing.

The problem with the course is that in a rainy winter it becomes a bit of a quagmire. The winter mats are also poor - either too hard and impossible to get tee in or too soft and difficult to keep tees in.

Amazing greens
The greens were top class - lightning quick but so true. Some tricky holes with tight OOB off the tee, or hidden ditches. Would need to have played there before to start exceling at this course. Impressed it was dog friendlyReviewer Rating

Haven't played this course for many years and had forgotten many of it's tricky holes so was playing a bit defensive but that said I did not get any rub of the greens so to speak that went in my favour but it seems to be a bit of a bogey course for me literally.

The staff and members were very welcoming to our group visiting from Canada. The Pro Shop was just great with club rentals (even Left handed) and course orientation. The Half-way house food & drinks was a welcome respite. Certainly and interesting course, but mostly very welcoming.

A great course in North London. Greens played true and in good condition. Practice putting greens also good & the nets to hit some irons before playing a great bonus.
