Stunning just stunning, flight from Glasgow early morning and met by taxi mini bus which took us to the club house. Very warm welcome with bacon rolls and coffee, pro shop equally as accomodating and then the opening tee shots. Glad to say we all made it and we were off, course was just amazing and every hole was a new challenge - especially as the wind increased in strength with each hole we came too. I would recommend this trip to anyone at least once in your lifetime and for us it was so good we are already talking about our trip next year.

Most natural golf course I have ever played, from the moment launch your opening tee shot over the Atlantic ocean you are in awe of the natural links layout and the rolling dunes, golf how it was meant to be played.

A fantastic course with reputedly the best first tee in the world - certainly features in the 1000 holes to hit before you die book that I saw the other day. Make sure you get a good weather report before you go - not pleasant in the rain/high winds. However, a stunning course with some very tricky fairways. Don't stray to the right hand side on any of the holes as you will lose it in the long rough!!

Fabulous course in great surroundings

Great links golf, classic first hole and an eerie moonscape landscape throughout. Really nice design and some tough holes. Well worth getting off the beaten track.

Visited the course on the 20 June and booked a tee time for late afternoon unfortunately I couldn’t hire a cart as they had to be returned for no later than 6pm . Thought the course layout was fantastic and the staff member working in the pro shop was very friendly . Personally I thought the greens were in a shocking state for a golf course that is ranked in the top 100 in the uk with green fees to match . I think that I should of be told about the poor condition of the greens before I parted with the green fees as I rated them the worst I have played this year and I have played on a lot of courses around Scotland
