Fairways were in excellent condition, there were 3 temporary tees but no temporary greens. The greens had been tined and seeded so putting was tricky.

A very nice and testing course in places, this could be an amazing public course if they can just get the greens to a decent standard and tee boxes flat. The course is receiving a fair bit of work on it to iron out the issues I raised, I would expect by May the course will be in good shape.

Although a few of the greens had issues with 'bobbles'; (being mid January probably didn't help) I thought the majority of the holes were really interesting. The views were great (helped by it being a clear, crisp winters day). Plenty of protected greens, different tiered fairways and extremely open to encourage you play hard. The staff were really friendly and the food was great value. Clubhouse a bit dated but I like them like that sometimes. Overall I will definitely be going back in the warmer weather. I have even booked up a society day there.

Played NYE, greens are in an awful state even for the time of year, and the price does not reflect the state of this course at the moment, bare mud patches in places...bumpy and impossible to read,

First time playing Lullingstone Park Castle course. Some really nice holes but badly let down by the state of the greens.

Course generally in decent condition. Greens don't look brilliant at the minute but rolled ok. Good to see some of the previous punishing rough appears to have been trimmed back for the winter. Decent meal after the round.

a challenge for all. Being an exposed course the wind will affect greatly and with many sideways sloping fairways tee shots are at a premium

Course is challenging at the best of times nearly 6300yards in length and every hole has a defence due to the landscape, most fairways are sloped and a lot of greens are above the fairways! Bunkers are very good compared to a lot of courses. Other than the greens being a bit cut up due to the maintenance this time of year it was a very nicely kept course!

Nice course, well kept. Greens were holding well struck shots and rolling true. The length of this course is its main defence especially when the wind blows. Bunkers had plenty of sand in them which is something of a rarity these days. Friendly enough staff in the shop and the bar.
