What the club says: Located in more than 500 acres of the most attractive and picturesque countryside. Play in the most scenic setting in Kent. Situated in the Darenth Valley near Chelsfield village, just outside London, Lullingstone offers both dedicated player and enthusiastic beginners a location unrivalled in the south east of England. The championship length 18 hole, par 72 course provides even the most committed player with the occasional challenge. The nine-hole course offers an equally rewarding playing experience for the seasoned golfer and a gentler introduction to the challenges ahead for those embarking on the game.

The course is in top condition at the moment. A good course to test any golfer. The ball is, apart from a few hole either beneath your feet or above. You could easily have a day there with an excellent 9 hole and then after a bite to eat play the 18 hole.

Punishing rough, but the one shot penalty local rule helps keep things moving along

First one out at 4.30am so it was a nice relaxing day. the course was bone dry, which was a shock given the amount of rain that had fallen over the past week or so. the greens has been hollow tuned but the dressing hadn't been brushed in properly so the greens were very bumpy.
being out and about so early means watching the sun rise and seeing the wildlife - i sat on the 16th tee watching the barn owls hunting for breakfast!

Played Sunday afternoon at twilight rates (£19) Quiet round no slow play or people behind pushing. Lovely setting and well maintained course. Will look forward to playing this course again.

Very difficult course, especially on a windy day ! If you find your ball in the rough then you may as well get another one out of your bag without looking for it.

Good to test long hitting game but ridiculously open in general so can get boring to replay eg the first hole.
Lovely premier league countryside views and well worth travelling a distance to play as a one off. Very difficult to find and could have closed if it was a private course.
Ground should be OK to play most of the year. The strangest thing though is the price for a council offshoot course. It should be about £ 15.00 max full price and £10.00 off peak yet they charge considerably more.

Course in decent condition given its now middle of winter. Bit of mud around but not too bad and greens were decent. Warm welcome in the bar afterwards. Always worth playing here.
