A number of holes are relatively bland interspersed with some real gems. Hole 3 offers a challenging tee shot to a small landing area - driver off tee is a risk. Hole 4 approach is over water to a small contoured green, great risk reward hole if you want to take it on. Hole 7 is a scenic par 3 over a large lake, big slope in front - take plenty of club. The 9th is driveable but guarded by two large bunkers - depending on pin placement this could be the best strategy. The 10th is a great hole. Small fairway, lake in range for driver. Large bunker to get over. If you play short of bunker you have a long approach into the (elevated) smallest green on the course which is also behind the lake. If you bail out to the right to safeguard from lake the green slopes severely away from you for your chip - very challenging hole & my personal favourite. Hole 13 is a beauty of a par 3, pin placement is key here. If close to front you are in danger of going into the lake. Heavily contoured green. The 16th is penal off tee, placement key to leave a second shot into the green. If you are a big hitter, go over the corner. My personal favourites, holes 3, 4, 10 & 13 with 10 being the standout hole that requires serious thought.
Clubhouse is lovely, staff & members friendly.

Usually play off back tees (Blues) when open, which makes this a very long course. Rough can be horrendous in summer if you are too wayward.
Playing off whites is still a challenge.
Greens always in good condition.
