Knott End Golf Club
The opening 5 Holes run alongside the River Wyre so be aware; a slice spells a watery grave when the tide is in. One of the finest views in the Fylde area can be seen from the 3rd tee. To the north is Morecambe Bay set against the background of the Lake District Mountains. On a very clear day to the Southwest, the high Mountains of Wales are also visible. One of the courses most infamous holes is the 11th hole 123yd par 3. At first glance this should pose few problems, however with water in front of and to the right of the green, out of bounds on both sides and to the rear of the green ‘mishaps’ often occur! When the wind is blowing this hole can vary from a sand iron to a 5 iron, the hole has ruined more promising good scores than any other hole.Contact Information

Location: Leave M6 at Exit 32 (signs for Blackpool) -Leave the M55 at Exit 3 (Fleetwood) -Follow Signs for Fleetwood -Pass through two sets of traffic lights still followinf signs for Fleetwood -At the next set of lights, turn right - A588 -Follow the A588 (B5377) to Knott End -Follow the road alongside the promenade -Club is situated next to a Large Public Car Park

A great seaside links course which ouses character from the 1st to the 18th. Catering is top-notch too. The course is very playable for all levels providing you engage your brain before you strike the ball.

We paid for this course using 241 vouchers so we got great value as the round only cost us £20.50 each.
The course is really nice, but very challenging. The wind was up today which makes the course very difficult as it is right on the coast.
On a windless day this is a great course. Maybe not a course for people just starting out though.
