A Great Day.
Finally played Kinross (Montgomery) for the first time this year after it being recommended by various friends. It didn’t disappoint, what a brilliant golf course. The layout itself is challenging but fair, nothing too quirky or tricked up, just some really strong golf holes. It was in superb condition, in fact I’ve yet to play a course this year with greens in better shape. We got a lovely welcome from the gentleman in the Professional Shop and he was very helpful giving us some advice about the water holes. There were two other Professionals playing behind us, we chatted to them briefly and I think it says a lot that other Pro’s choose to play here on their days off. I’m looking forward to my next visit already, this time to play the Bruce course.Reviewer Rating

Better Every Time!
I’ve been playing both of these courses as a visitor for the bast part of 15 years now and I can honestly say they get better every year. We’ve just returned from another weekend staying in The Green Hotel and the golf courses are the best I have ever seen them, the greens in particular are phenomenal. The level of customer service from the Pro and his Assistant was first class, they couldn’t do enough for us. There are a few reviews on here criticising the bunkers and I would also agree that they are the weakest part of the course. It isn’t all of them, maybe about a third of them require attention but don’t let that put you off. We’re already booked up for next year and looking forward to it already.Reviewer Rating

Great course for an outing
Really good course. Located beside 2 hotels so perfect for group outings or weekends away. Clubhouse very friendly and open to visitors as well. Highly recommend.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 11.5)

Wonderful

Course was in excellent condition. Greens running very true and fast due to prolonged good weather. a few tricky little holes but very well laid out. something for everyone hear. Water, sand, doglegs. A really cracking course

Well maintained course there are two courses here and the Montgomery is the more challenging one which my card is for. Even tho the other course the Bruce is slightly easier it also a fantastic course. The club house is staffed with polite and friendly people. The golf shop has everything you require. Recommend both these courses to everyone

Despite it raining constant for the previous 36 hours. By the morning at 10am when we played the course was in excellent condition. greens were still very fast and very very little standing water anywhere on the course. The course itself was very good and a good challenge.

Got free round at last years Scottish Golf Show., Great course and clubhouse, all staff and members made us feel very welcome will definately play again hopefully in the summer when the weather is better.

Played the Montgomery course on 3rd August. Course layout is class as was the condition. many greens have wild slopes on them especially the par 3s. I would give the course 10/10 for everything except the bunkers. Horrible thick brown sand with loads of stones in them. Other than that, the course is perfect. A lot of doglegs so have to plot your way round but very enjoyable round. Will def be back to play again and to try other course out aswell.
