Only out for money
An awful setup clearly out to get just as much money as they can whilst providing the most basic service, they've now come down to 4 minutes between tee times with no Marshall so play is ridiculously slow, the state of the driving range and the balls on the range are a disgrace, the bins on the courses were all overflowing they really need to start thinking about their customers satisfaction rather than just their profitsReviewer Rating

£23 to play some of the poorest greens I have seen in a long time. Bunkers were not raked and had very little sand in them. Ok its still winter conditions but reduce your green fees to reflect the state of your course. Pro shop and clubhouse were ok and the food was reasonable

The greens were rather hard when I last visited here & flat with harldy any borrows on them. On a positive side you have to have really severe weather to shut the course unless the River Stour bursts it's banks.
The clubhouse is well staffed & the food here is pretty good if a little on the dear side

Nice layout but !!!
Played on a twilight rate of £14 after 3pm , hard to say wether it's good value , the layout is nice, some wide fairways margins for error so suits the mid to high handicap players or players looking to progress from small 9 hole courses. Unfortunately its the attention to detail, the greens are in a poor state, some areas should of been marked off as G.U.R and when you get to a certain level your expectations are a need for true running greens. In summary if you like good quality greens to putt on this is not the course for you, if at your stage in the game you want a course that doesn't punish you too much then it's ok.Reviewer Rating

Improving from winter
All the signs of growth are now starting to show through. Tees fairways and greens all so much better. Worth a visit especially during the week when it can be quieter. Some good offers making this affordableReviewer Rating
