Dudmoor Farm Golf Club
Dudmoor Farm Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 6AQ United Kingdom
Whilst suitable for beginners, the course has some challenging holes, and more experienced players can have some fun here. No-one has ever said it is boring! The abundance of wildlife is an added attraction. The sandy soil is free-draining, and we usually manage to stay open when other courses have to close. The course was established about 30 years ago, but went through a period of ownership when there is no denying it became somewhat neglected and run-down. The current owners have worked hard to put things right, and the greens in particular are now up to a good standard. If people who stopped coming when the course was in poor shape, were to come again, we think they would be pleasantly surprised.Book a Tee Time

Played here just the one time, I will not be rushing back. I played with a severe pain in my back making it near impossible to play a full swing. I actually scored really well about shots under my handicap. Trees are not exactly your best friend as they are in the way in the middle of the fairway.
Definately recomend it to any beginner in the Christchurch area but then suggest moving on to Ifrod golf centre when you get the basics done. I have NO real intention of going back

A very good course which is good value for money. Set amongst trees in a beautiful setting. Good for beginners. Not many golfers on the course. Basic facilities with a clubroom selling snacks and drinks. I would recommend this course.

Its quiet, which is good for beginners, but tight as a gnat's chuff in places, which perhaps isn't! It plays in difficulty like a proper golf course, although the holes are short, for this reason. But a lovely location, good value (you can go round twice for no extra cost) and its got some fun challenges.

Excellent greens and bunkers, a nice 9 hole walk. Shame about the teeing off area as they are driving range mats, although they do have a tee holder so you can use your own tees. Apart from the tee a varying hole length allows use of a variety of clubs. Trees add to the excitement lining each hole. The clubhouse is nothing to shout about. It's a small room with two chairs and a serving desk. Refreshments are available but expect to pay vending machine prices(70p) for most snacks. There are no toilets and it's a long road to get to the course. Not many golfers were there making it perfect for beginners, or a peaceful walk.

This course is a very good 9 hole course which is quite narrow in a small woodland area.
It is an ideal course for beginners or if you want to practice your irons in a quiet and very secluded area. Surprisingly the greens have been very good this winter I recommend it.
