Great to be back
The course has been well tended during the "Lockdown" period and is in really good condition. Greenkeepers have down much work in the period. A couple of bunkers off the 18th tee been filled in and a new bunker being constructed for "long hitters" near the practice green Tee. Nice to see no "hack" marks on the tees or fairways from lazy golfers!!!!!Reviewer Rating

Doing their best in wet weather
Two temporary greens and six temporary tee boxes. Greens very fluffy and fairways on the long side, but given the recent weather, the greenkeepers have done a grand job to keep the course open. Always friendly staff and overall well worth the 18 quid for the later tee time. One negative point: give all golfers a pitch mark repairer for free in weather like this. I repaired at least two, if not three marks on every green and few were mine! Bad manners by some players, but the course could save a fortune later by giving the tools for free.

Definitely well worth a visit
The course is in good condition, tees have seed boxes to fill in divot holes, greens are excellent. It can be a challenging course as numerous fairways slope to the right so a straight drive may not finish where you thought it would. All adds to the fun of the game to keep you on your toes.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 86 Handicap: 11.5)

Beautiful course on the south downs
This course is a beautiful parkland course built into some of the most beautiful countryside in the whole of Sussex. A relatively short course but it doesn't feel like it as the course meanders up and down parts of the south downs national park. Wide forgiving fairways make this a great course for the mid to high handicapper but some challenging risk/reward shots on some holes for low handicappers. The views around the course are fantastic, but the view from the 16th tee is a breathtaking panoramic view of the Sussex Coast, which is just reward for the climb up the 15th fairway. Everything is finished of nicely at the 19th hole with friendly staff a good selection of drinks and some great food (with generous portions). I hope all of you that visit enjoy it as much as I do.Reviewer Rating
