What the club says: The setting alone is inspiration enough at Hever Castle’s 250 acre 27 hole course. Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, dates back to 1270. In 1903 William Waldorf Astor acquired the Castle and gradually added to the estate. In the 1920s the Astors created a nine hole golf course for their personal enjoyment, set around the Hever Castle lake and land to the north of Hever Castle, which survived until the Second World War when it was sadly abandoned.
A beautifully maintained course that was a joy to play, even in the rain. Pro shop was friendly and helpful. A lovely day all round.
Great course, condition on the day, mostly good - had hollow tined the greens making putting more difficult. 'Amen Corner' lived up to its reputation! Some spectacular holes. Tests every facet of your game, and very enjoyable. (Sadly, lost my 58 degree wedge, which no-one has since handed in.)
A very nice course, Shame it was chucking it down with rain. Defiantly going back to play when its dry, Some real good par 4's. Nice par 3's over water and some long par 5's. 12th is almost like the the 12th at augusta. Greens were great in the rain.

Played here on a society day which included lunch. Food, service and clubhouse all excellent. Great practise putting green, chipping area, and range.
Course itself was in superb condition. There are some challenging holes but the whole course is stunning. Loved it here.

Very nice course, lovely views from the very nice clubhouse. Greens difficult to read but all in all a very nice golf course

Some holes will play longer than they look so make sure you club correctly - lots of dead ground areas. Also worth walking up the fairway a bit to look for contours on the fairway.

Main course great challenge, beautiful surroundings. Played on a society day that included playing the Prices course - don't bother, greens were tined and sanded and the nine holes are too short to be anything other than practice. The main course was very, very busy. I understand they need to make money, but there's a balance between long rounds and the club's turnover. We felt squeezed and had to wait on most tees for the players in front. The food was ok - although a burger and chips as dinner was a strange choice - and that's all we got. It cost £68 so I'm in two minds about whether it was good value or not, maybe with the Princes course being in better shape and improved dinner I'd say yes.

Proper test of golf. Excellent greens, course in top condition and very fair if hitting in the right spot.

Played in a charity match so spent the whole day, great facilities, including practice range putting green and chipping green, course is not to hilly but is long with big par 5's. Some water hazards with bridges to cross makes it pretty, greens are good. Tough for a short hitting player but look forward to playing again when my game improves.

A corporate day, the course was in great condition and always challenging. It was showing signs on the summer hot weather but, that did not detract from the round.

The weather started off in brilliant sunshine for the front 9. Then there was torrential rain for the back 9. The course played very well through out but putting was tough as a result of the rain on the back 9.
Nice course with some very interesting holes
