Great golf course, a laid out golf course excellent fairways with lightning fast greens! Always try and leave yourself below the cup!! Friendly staff in the pro shop and bar! Highly recommend playing here! Only short but a cracking test

My first time playing here despite it being my nearest golf club. What a pleasant surprise! Cracking little course, quite short but you need to plan your way round. Great stuff. Will play again, maybe even look into membership.

Interesting front nine with some challenging holes. The back nine is relatively dull. Watch out for the members who are quite obnoxious. They do not appear to respect paying visitors.

I cannot possibly name one fault about the course itself, however the general attitude and approach to social interactions from the majority of members already a part of Heaton Moor was extremely disappointing, rude and demeaning. I feel being polite and having respect to other people playing the course is as much a priority as having a golf club, and its hard to understand how a club has been open for so many years with such an out dated and flawed approach to the game. The way me and other players were treated for merely having a top on that other members didn't find formal enough, and being young was a disgrace and it is no wonder why there are less than 20 young members in a course so local to many of the youth in the four heatons. Traditions and a pompous attitude will not keep a golf course open, but the youth who need to feel welcome if the course is going to be kept open another 100 years. So if you want a nice game of golf and can ignore people with a considerably poor attitude, then by all means give the place a go, however don't be alarmed when you find that the several trees lining the fairway are more friendly than anyone you will come across on the course. From what I saw, I want to make it clear it wasn't the staff who were rude, but more the other members, and just like it is apparently expected to wear white socks and a collared top, it should be expected and maintained that other members are addressed in a courteous and considerate manner.

A course of two halves, with the first nine holes the more enjoyable. Some tricky greens.

Nice course

Front 9 is quirky with doglegs left and right, back 9 is longer and more tree lined.

Course was boggy even though we had no rain for 4 days. We got ate by loads of bugs

Nice course

Front 9 is strategic, need to keep ball in play then it’s quite easy to score. Back 9 longer and a bit more difficult but still fun and a challenge
