Harborne Church Farm Golf Club
A beautiful tight course requiring thought and good shot placement. Don't be put off by its length as it will suit the golfer who thinks a lot and doesn't necessarily power their way around a course. Many of the holes require care to negotiate the two streams and bunkers. Golfers who play regularly know only too well that the 9th hole, stroke index one, needs to be mastered if a reasonable score is to be achieved. An accurate tee shot avoiding the out of bounds on the right has to be made leaving a mid iron into the green; choose a driver and you can have a nightmare. A good test of golf on a short course.

its might be a short course but it is tight

A lot of the tees\fairways\greens run very close to one another meaning you often have to wait for players playing a different hole before you can take you shot (especially if you are as wayward as me!) and also the bunkers and greens aren't kept in great conditions (the price you have to pay for a municipal course I guess where basic etiquette such as raking the bunkers or letting people play through when you've lost your ball seem lost on a number of the people playing the course.
Having said that it is cheap and nice and short so if you fancy a quick practice round then (as long as you pick your time right) it does the job nicely
