Great Little course greens are good .played here twice in a month just to confirm what a good value course it was also if you play there once you can register your email address with them ant then get reduced green fees and you should do this as you will want to play this again overall 61/2 out 10

Dummer is a hidden gem. It is easily accessible from the M3, and a very friendly club. A favourite for me. The course is in good condition, greens are excellent, and whilst work is still taking place on the 17th and 18th holes, it does not detract from this great course.

Very interesting course that compensates for the lack of length by having some challenging water and well placed bunkers. Not too much scope for using a driver, this course is about placement and accuracy and with quite a few dog legs you have a choice of hitting over bunkers off the tee or playing safe. There are some great views, some exposure to any wind that may be blowing and the nearby M3 doesnt distract you. I am told that it sits on free draining chalk allowing for year round play and not on temporary tees and greens. Only criticism is that there could be at least one more par 5.

A very enjoyable course. On chalk so free draining. No mats (except 18th!!). Fast greens. Good test for high handicappers without being daunting. Great afternoon's golf. Welcoming & helpful pro shop, friendly members, good clubhouse.
Will def go back. One drawback - no course planner, although generally holes are clear and straight, a planner would have helped on a few. Lovely bunkers!!! Used 'teeofftimes' to book. Good service.

Booked on line so only £16. The first looks pretty straight forward but don't be fooled because there are some challenging holes on this course. Club house staff very welcoming.

Open course with few out of bounds. Drains really well so very good for bad weather golf. Only one par 5 off the yellows (18th) which is being modified, but not finished yet (as of April 2012) will make the hole much better when finished.
Overall good value for money if not the hardest course you will ever play

Have played this course several times in the last couple of months. Can't really fault it, always enjoy my round but if they ever drain the lake on the 18th I'd like to collect all my balls please!!!

Really enjoy this course, some challanging holes for all abilities. Very foregiving fairways off the tea help the novice like myself and reward those who are long with a driver.

Generally a very open course until you get to the 18th, which I am guessing is one that you need to play a few times in order to figure out the lines and clubs to use.
The whole course (bar the edges of the 18th fairway, which is in recovery after some sculpturing) was in excellent condition, especially given that it is the start of January and recently I am used to walking off a course with mud on my shoes and trousers. That wasn't the case here.
The clubhouse was very warm and welcoming and couldn't be faulted, and there's even a range to warm up on before the start of the round.
Well worth a visit!

Nice Course but It would have been helpful to have a picture of the hole on the scorecard or around the tee box.

Dummer Golf Course charge for the tee, so the more you get the cheaper your round is. Normally £60 for midweek games and £75 for weekends.
Course is open, but is still tricky. Need to be accurate of the tee to score well.
