What the club says: Designed by Club members, in conjunction with a course architect, the course is situated in 150 acres of rolling North Hampshire countryside 1.5 miles from the centre of Basingstoke. The course, which has the sixteenth as its signature hole, provides a challenge for golfers at all levels. There is the usual mix of par three, four and five holes which by the use of sculptured fairways, strategically placed plantations and difficult bunker positions, make the course a challenge on all holes. Add to this greens of the highest order and you have the course to please all golfers.

New layout means you play the practice holes. Almost feels like your playing a different course.
Not a puddle or wet patch in sight. Excellent drainage!

A very nice round with the course in a good condition. The greens were a bit sandy and slow but it is the winter after all.

Weybrook has potential to be a good course, however, the following areas bascially ruin their chances:

- Slow play, this is a joke, it should not take 20 minutes to complete a hole. I am a member and have not been able to complete a round for over 6 weeks at the weekend due to slow play and poor other players who don't care what is going on behind them.
- Greens dont get cut enough
- All bunkers have differing amounts of sand and do not get raked by greenkeepers in the morning.
- Plastic covers covering other hole positions which are position 3-4mm below level of green ??
- No course marshalls

With all these problems with the course I cannot see how they can charge so much per year in membership fees. Was a member of south winchester last year and that course is in a much condition.

Been a member for a year.
Tee Blocks are a disgrace never flat.
Fairways are average.
Greens are never mowed and pin positions are a joke. Also appears that very few people bother to repair pitch marks holes 16 and 17 greens appear like the surface of mars.
Today 4 groups were on the par 3 10th hole as usual club does nothing about slow play. Also saw greenkeepers filling in divots on a par 5 tee says a lot about people who play here.

Would like to say i reaaly enjoyed playing here. Its was my first time i've played an 18 hole course and to me it was very very good. as for the course the greens was quick and the fairways was top quailty.

This is a nice open course that has some very interesting holes on. When I played it it was on the day of the club championship, so the greens were lightning fast. With the contoured greens it meant that there were few easy putts.

Not a short course, it is made (slightly) easier by firm fairways that I imagine are made possible by free draining soil. It's a course that is going to test you whilst still being fair, it was in great condition when I played it, and it's worth giving it a go if you're in the area. The only real downer is that it's a little bit expensive.

The course was in good condition overal. Fairways were well defined and had adequate grass on them. Greens were a little slow but you would expect that in November.
Bunker quality was variable. The club house produced some good bar food for our party of 6 and the staff were pleasant. The new three holes add some extra interest as two of them have water on them. Hole 17, a par three over water, can be tricky in the wind.
