Good course but greens very poor that day
Given the course location the groundstaff have a thankless task to keep it looking as picturesque and playable as they do. This day the greens were virtually impossible to play as they had been spiked to aid drainage after heavy rain.I love this course and will play again but perhaps later in the season so as to allow the course to be dryer and smoother to play.

Course in tip top condition
Played a few times here over the years, but last couple of times I’ve been really impressed with the quality of the course, the fairways and greens are absolutely first class. Round almost spoilt by the slowest society I’ve ever had the misfortune to be stuck behind, obviously that’s not really the Club’s fault but a little marshalling always helps in these situations.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 86 Handicap: 14.8)

Superb Society day out
14 of us played at Disley yesterday and had an all round brilliant day. The weather was kind to us so that was a bonus, but the course was in excellent condition and the greens were fast and tough to read. We had a 2 course meal to finish and had one of the best steak pies I've ever eaten. Well done Disley!!! Give it a try, you won't regret it.Reviewer Rating

I played Disley yesterday and i must say it was in lovely condition. The greens were extremely fast which proved tricky at times, and rolled true. I actually played here last year and the greens were thick with grass and slow, so a big improvement! Great views from the top of the course. Friendly bar staff.

Played early morning, so there was heavy dew on the ground which slowed the greens at first, But even so they were in great condition. The course itself, always poses a challenge and today was no different. Great course with fantastic views, for when your game isn't quite up to scratch.

A problem with a stroppy member hampered our experience, however a scenic golf course with beautiful views and a few interesting holes. Greens weren't great, very inconsistent.

Absolutely soaked, the course held more water than the North Atlantic, it has been raining persistently for about 36 hours though. Greens were mostly excellent and I would play again after a week of dry weather.

Lovely course in the Peak District
Played this course with my golf society earlier this week. The course was in excellent condition. The greens were well manicured and deceptively tricky. Aparantely they have a brand new green keepers staff, so the course isn't quiet where it should be for this time of year, bobbly greens but that's the I KT negative. Still enjoyed the course
