Davenport Golf Club
Nesting in the foothills of the Southern Pennines, Davenport Golf Club offers a warm and friendly reception to golfers of all ages and abilities.
Characterised by small, built up greens, the course rewards accuracy from tee to green. Consisting of 2 par 5's, 11 par 4's and 5 par 3's together with a practice range and practice putting area, its a club where every aspect of your game can be improved.
Set on both sides of a quiet country road just outside Poynton, the course measures 6034 yards from the white tees.
Specifically testing holes include the First, Third, Fourteenth, Seventeenth & Eighteenth but every hole presents challenges to even the most able golfer. Contact Information

Location
Location: From all directions head for the small Cheshire county town of Poynton on the A523 between Hazel Grove and Macclesfield. At the traffic lights at the junction of the A5149 and A523, turn into Park Lane and in half a mile fork left into Middlewood Road. Davenport Golf Club is approx. 1/3rd of a mile along Middlewood Road on the left hand side.

Short course, but does have a number of long par 3;s which are a good test for any standard golfer. The greens are quite small, and the surface on them prevents the ball from having a good true roll.
