Cottesmore Golf & Country Club
Buchan Hill, Pease Pottage, Crawley, West Sussex, RH11 9AT United Kingdom
The Griffin Course (Cottesmore Golf & Country Club)
Landscaped around two lakes, the Griffin requires shots over water on four of its holes. In addition, with rhododendrons, silver birch, oak and chestnut trees lining the fairways, the 6,248 yard course demands accuracy off the tees, many of which are elevated.
18 holes. Par 71. 6248 yards. Parkland / Woodland.
The Phoenix Course (Cottesmore Golf & Country Club)
A more forgiving course than the Griffin, The Phoenix is laid out in the same mature parkland. An excellent "second" course, it also has tree-lined fairways but also features the unique and memorable "tee in the tree" at the 14th. 18 holes.
18 holes. Par 69. 5514 yards. Parkland / Woodland.Book a Tee Time

Nice course. very tricky, with some clever club selection required. On the whole, very attractive, although some holes are a bit dull.

Beautiful course, was wet to be fair, but had loads of rain. Some real picturesque holess. Great value via teeofftimes.co.uk. Would love to be a member, just too far away.

Nice course, tener a round no grumbles, some nice holes. As a big(ish) hitter plays very short, shot 77 of a 12 handicap. Great round, good course, exceptional value. Oh, and nice food too...

Much of the course was waterlogged and should not really have been in play.

found the course very good but poor drainage spoilt it a bit,2 winter greens were quite unplayable and several greens were in a poor state, the griffin course seemed immaculate but then is more expensive, enjoyed playing the course but am sure summer will be much better thanks

Played the second course but thoroughly enjoyed. Not the longest but greens and fairways were in great nick and having looked at the Griffin Course it looked packed and queues on most tees whereas we had a good run. Would recommend

A fair course for the cost of £10 a round. Good value for money but the T boxes are a bit rough and the greens could be a lot better but still a very enjoyable course

OK course but far too many par 3's, four in the back 9 alone. Greens absolutely awful, bare patches, holes and bumps everywhere.

The Griffin is the tougher of the two courses but well maintained. The fairways can be quite narrow and course management is therefore essential if you are going to have a good round. Beware the 16th and 17th, they could both ruin a good card!!

The Griffin is a good challenge with some decent holes. Enjoyable to play, and suits players who can work the ball right to left. The Pheonix is shorter and good for beginers.

Only played the Phoenix course here. Definitely the poor cousin of the better Griffin course. That said however, it is excellent value for money and a good bet for a quick knock around.
