I found the fairways a little scratchy and the greens a little bumpy, but still enjoyed the round.

Nice setting although definitely a summer course, fairways don't appear to have very good drainage, heavy, muddy and wet.

Kingfisher Course, pleasant well laid out course, but very heavy going, wet and muddy, difficult to identify where fairway ends and rough starts. Maybe one for the summer! Waterfall I understand is the one to play, but whether it is any better in the winter I don't know.

Course very muddy following recent rain, but in descent nick considering. Very peaceful in the countryside. Not too many playing even though it was saturday. Only £22 each, great price for a weekend. Staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our day. Certain to return.

Played here as part of a society and was really impressed. The Waterfall is a stunning, challenging and well kept course with a good variety of holes. All the staff were brilliant so anyone looking at society days venues defiantly consider mannings Heath - great day, great course

While the layout of the course is reasonable, the condition of the Kingfisher (public) course is poor because it is very poorly maintained. There is only dust or mud in the bunkers, not sand, and the ground under repair has not been repaired for over 2 years, looking like waste ground.

As the Mannings Heath pay and play course, the Kingfisher lacks any real investment. The bunkers lack sand and the fairway bunkers on the 11 hole have been GUR for at least four years. Overall it is over priced and not well looked after.

Played Kingfisher today, great course, tees and fairways in great condition. Very good greens, a challenge for your putter. A couple of the bunkers need sorting out but apart from that a really good course and beautiful surroundings as well.

Played the Kingfisher course for my GTour event. Tees were good, but needed a few divots filling in in places. Fairway and bunkers were good. Greens were very good, smooth to putt on and held the line very well. Scenic course that is very open, apart from a couple of holes. If you are playing well you will do really well around here. Good clubhouse and helpful staff.

I played the Kingfisher course and thought it was fantastic value for money. The tees, fairways and greens were in great condition. The staff in the clubhouse and bar area were also very welcoming and friendly. I will be playing there again very soon I'm sure!

Waterfall Course in very average/poor condition and that is not even taking into account that most of the tees are being renovated (see previous post) and we had to play off mats or temp tees. Even though our society had paid a cash depoit they claimed we had to pay VAT on top of the agreed price (not come across that before) and refused to listen to any arguement. Considering that that our society plays at least 2 - 3 times a year on either the Waterfall or Kingfisher courses, it would seem that they couldn't care less. This is supposed to be one of the top courses in the south east but in it's current condition their own public course (The Kingfisher) beats it hands down. This cost us £50 per person but if I had seen this in advance I would not have paid £10. Manning Heath management need to sorth themselves out as this course has gone downhill rapidly.

Some very fine holes with some good carries and relatively hilly. 13 tees are being re-constructed which makes the course is quite short at present. New tees should be in operation from May/ June.
Greens and fairways in pretty good condition despite the very heavy rainfall. Holes 5 through to 11 are a very good test.
