Cambridge Meridian Golf Club
Ryder Cup players, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, have transformed this intriguing piece of land into one of the most beautiful golf courses in the country – a mixture of classic links and modern championship course.
The club is named after the Greenwich Meridian Line which runs through the course. Only eleven courses in the world span the Meridian Line - ten in England and one in France.
With water hazards on all but five of the holes and large, undulating greens built to USGA championship course standards, you need both a fearless approach and a steady head.

Decent course with opportunities to reach the odd par 5 in two, and some short(ish) par 4's. The par 3's include a couple of very long ones. Greens are quite good for such a young course (founded 1994). The young trees will give the course character when they have grown, but for now it's quite open - make the most of it.

Will be great when it dries out. Mosy of the fairways were waterlogged so there ware additional water hazards

A nice course deceptive greens and even a triple layer green on one of the holes! longer hitters can get away with some sices and hooks as most of the fairways widen out further up but this course is not a couse for short hitters

Best greens I've played in England! I have played a couple of courses at Celtic-Manor (2010 and Montgomerie) and these greens are far superior to their's.

Played for the first time today, fairways in good order, greens were excellent. Good undulating course. Placing of ball was more important than distance. Good pro shop, food in clubhouse was excellent value for money.

I've been a memeber here for 1 year. I will definately renew. The course is well laid out with over 100 bunkers. 3 par 5's on the back 9 make it a par 73. Wonderful opening short par 4 and finishes with a dog leg par 5. Nice friendly clubhouse. The only fault I can find is that the sand in the bunkers is not exactly the sand you would put in your kids sandpit. The 9th is a par 4 dog leg card wrecker where you play over water twice. Followed by a long par 5 where you play over water twice. The 16th is a long uphill par 4. when you eventually get to the green. Stand and look back at the view of Cambridgeshire..... stunning!!
