Course in superb condition for this time of year, greens putting very well and baring in mind how much rain there has been in the area over the past few days the course was very dry.
Bargain at £20 PP including a mince pie and chips!
Staff in the pro shop very helpful and very friendly.
will be back next week.

New housing development surround by golf course, which was OK, have played better and greens were not brilliant. Nice club house and good beer

Greens had been tinned and were very difficult to putt on, shame as the rest of the course was excellent.

The club house is brand new plus has great views from the balcony looking up the 18th fairway and green, only down falls are the walking between greens and tees. Even the first tee must be 500yards nice course green very good.

1st up on arrival the pro was very polite and very helpful,course was in very nice condition,the greens did play very slow although once used to them it was a great day!I didn't have a chance to go into the clubhouse so cannot comment but if it's anything like the pro shop it should be great! Went round in 88 shots and am a 19 handicapper

A great course this one and well worth the effort to visit if you are new to the North East or are a visitor to the area. It has a good selection of testing holes, is well kept and has matured very well in the last few years.The course was in superb condition when played on 5th June 2014 (score 93; h/cap 22 - one of my best rounds ever!)

this course is fantastic greens spot on. fairways lovely the whole set up is great wish i lived closer it would be a membership for me

Course is always in very good condition, plays very long. Food is poor and catering staff are not the friendliest i have met

Exceptional in all areas. Extremely well kept greens and fairways. The very best I have found anywhere in the North East / Northumberland.

Course itself was in very good condition, but the greens were very bobbly, plus where anyone had stood on the green before us, there was a dent which did not spring back. Some of the greens had been treated, so no doubt they will improve, and when they do, it will be a great test.

a lovely course in really good nick bearing in mind the time of year is there better value out their (£15) with bacon roll and coffee. nice pint in the bar as well. friendly people as well a stray club would have been lost without a members kindness
