The course is set between 2 rough housing estates. The told us they had problems with locals using the course to walk their dogs. One nicked my ball. WATCH OUT FOR THE DOG MESS.
The greens were in great condition.
No rakes in bunkers, but plenty of stones.
The course gets very compact with 4 holes sort of moulding in to one at one point. A short course but could have potential if there was a way of keeping non golfers off the course.
Staff in clubhouse were very friendly.
Ok in winter if desperate but not a warm day course because of the local kids.
I will not play again if it can be helped.

Great greens, everything else untidy

Scruffy tee boxes, fairways. Different length grass on the second cut. People walking through the course as a cut through. Dogs just running freely around the fairways. Not great. Greens roll true and at a good pace. They're immaculate. Not much sand in bunkers.

Paid £18 on a Sunday morning, course just not worth it...£10 at best.....dodging balls all morning staff were really friendly and welcoming however I don't think I'll ever be going back in a hurry. The good side is the green were kept quite well and some were pretty quick.

Tight small course

Appears the new owners think the ryder cup is to be played here. At times first cut off the fairway is long grass and also round the greebs....2nd cut ball is buried

Great greens, decent ish fairways .

Played the course just after a biblical downpour of rain. The fairways handled it very well. Greens had standing water but nothing could be done about that. We had to play off 'mats' which are fine however charging £3.50 feels a con. No mention of it on the website prior to booking which turned a £15 round into £18.50. Either include it in the round fee initially or hand them out for free.

Other than that a good testing, undulating course.

Picturesque

A good par 70 challenging course though all bunkers were GUR. To be expected the Clubhouse was closed but received a friendly welcome from the shop.
