Bristol and Clifton Golf Club
The course offers all players unlimited opportunities to complete a round with a real sense of achievement. Natural obstacles include a former quarry and spinneys of trees dotted round the course.
Apart from the par threes, there are only two holes that might reasonably be called straight. All the rest, to a greater or lesser degree, are dog-legs.
Although trouble is reasonably well distributed on both sides of most holes, the slicer generally comes off worse than the hooker. It is a true test for all golfers. Contact Information

Location: 1. Leave the M5 at Exit 19, (Easton-in-Gordano) 2. Follow the road to Bristol for about 3 miles (A369). 3. Ignore first pedestrian crossing (with traffic lights), which you pass. 4. Turn right at first set of traffic lights into Beggar Bush Lane. 5. Continue along Beggar Bush Lane for about one and a half miles The Golf Club is situated on the right hand side shortly after you have passed the Redwood Lodge (formerly Corus) Hotel (on the left hand side).

A lovely course just off the M5, with very good greens. Views of the Severn estuary and bridges compliment the varied and sometimes difficult holes. The rough can be very rough and often very difficult to find a ball, so keep an eye on each other's shots.
The club house is fantastic and very helpful staff. Recently taken over by Crown Golf, it offers excellent facilites at reasonable prices.
