Beautiful, and challenging

A gorgeous course - beautifully & immaculately maintained. View of the White Horse hill from the first tee. Some very acute angled dog-legs, and plenty of bunkers for the unwary. Not many water hazards, but the ones that are there will challenge you. It was a sunny, humid day on the day we played. A really terrific 18 holes, well worth £40 green fee.

Good course

A good course with very well kept fairways and bunkers. The greens were not quite up to the same standard, being not as smooth as I expected. Putts were thus more testing than they should have been. Overall though it was a fair test with some interesting challenges.

Great course and Hotel

Very nice course, great layout with some interesting holes, was a little wet under foot and green a little scruffy, but may be due to time of year.

Weekend Get Away

Great service in the hotel with locally produced food ingredients the golf course is a good layout with challenging holes with the spa facilities to relax in if you don't fancy playing golf.

An enjoyable challenge

Played here as part of a corporate event and really liked the course. It's long and difficult with lots to think about on the way. The nick of the fairways and greens was great though the greens were a devil to read. Staff were great and if you travel to this course you'll not be disappointed with the investment in time. Thoroughly recommend fed!!

Challenging

Brilliant lay out , unpredictable greens. Some fast some slow.

Seen better conditions but would still play again.
