Beautiful
What a stunning course. The attention to detail around the course is awesome, was a pleasure to be there. Stunning views, babbling streams, tree lined adges, even the approach by car through some of Cornwall's most enchanting wooded roads. Was quite a soggy round and will come back in the better weather.Reviewer Rating

Superb facilities
As always a great visit to Bowood, excellent course, everyone friendly and helpful. Playing conditions not great as heavy rain all the way round, despite this the course was brilliant(Round played: Jan 2018 - Score: 97 Handicap: 20.3)

Truly awesome course
hi all, me and a friend played today on a nice crisp frosty morning. a good start to my Christmas leave!course was exceptional giving the last weeks weather and time of year.
not a place that you leave feeling underwhelmed. cant wait to have a summer round.

Great course and Hotel
Very nice course, great layout with some interesting holes, was a little wet under foot and green a little scruffy, but may be due to time of year.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 14.1)

Weekend Get Away
Great service in the hotel with locally produced food ingredients the golf course is a good layout with challenging holes with the spa facilities to relax in if you don't fancy playing golf.(Round played: Sep 2017 - Score: 91 Handicap: 10.8)

An enjoyable challenge
Played here as part of a corporate event and really liked the course. It's long and difficult with lots to think about on the way. The nick of the fairways and greens was great though the greens were a devil to read. Staff were great and if you travel to this course you'll not be disappointed with the investment in time. Too difficult for medium handicappers. Bunkers unfairly placed in front of almost all greens and both sides of almost every drive. Course management of typical hotel course - over booked resulting in 5hrs round!

Challenging
Brilliant lay out , unpredictable greens. Some fast some slow.Seen better conditions but would still play again.

Had a bad day at the office but what a great course. Fast greens, bunkers in all the right places and you had to think about every shot. I will return to what has been one of the best courses I have played on.
