Great little course but needs a bit of cash spending on it and maintanace eg new sand in bunkers, ball washers etc etc

As I am still very much a hacker I enjoy trying to improve by playing this course. Although a short course I can get a Driver out. The course is improving and gives me the feeling of playing a round in the coutryside rather than in a suburb.

cheap course with some challenging holes notably the 4th and 7th. Greens are frustrating as they are either hard as concrete in the sun or like putting through sand in the rain. Bunkers added recently have improved the challenge, a bit of work by the goundkeepers and this could be a good course.

I think folks are being a bit harsh here. We've all played top courses and paid dearly for the experience ! Lets remember the offer £7 for 9 holes or £10 for 18. At that kind of price I would expect less quite frankly ! The course has a bit of water here and there, decent protection in most areas and delvers greater than you might expect. I play this course about 4 times a year as relatives live close and really enjoy it every time I'm there. Next time your passign with 1 1/2 on your hands or an 80 year old father in law in the back give it a try - you might like it !

This is an ideal course to visit after work for practise rather than going down the driving range. You get what you pay for. Great value for money with a variety of challenges and a good mix of hazards but it is what it is. The greens are adequate but the course is basic. Again the course is great to relax after work and get some short game practise in along with the odd driver. Worth checking out if you are local.
