Become a very good course in recent years and recently updated some tee boxes and other improvements. Some challenging holes with water in play.

Nice changes to second hole - made it completely different, but not detracted from the round at all despite taking a few yards off the hole.

Condition of course ok recovering well from winter, Greens in very good condition. Some good long holes. Lots of bunkers around the greens.

Played here for the first time as up in Leicestershire for golf comp at Loughborough. Useful for a warm up round. Bit straight and up down in places but plenty of doglegs and ditches which make you think going round. Decent value and good bar to have a pint in afterwards.
