Decent track. Very tight so driving is key and greens also in very decent condition for October. The clubhouse is very oldy worldy if you like that sort of thing.

a lovelly golf course with some cracking holes. greens are superb & can be quick. undulating fairways sometimes spoil a perfect drive! on a good day the members can be the most warmest welcome you can have. on a bad day they can also be the most stuck up toffee nosed so & so's you will ever meet. Birstall golf club needs to get a little bit more with the times. you should not have to be a knight to play golf!! having said that if you do get the chance to play here the course will not dissapoint!

A mature course, plenty of wood to punish the wayward tee shot. Greens were fast. The bunkers visited were firm and shallow easy to leave but tricky to persuade the ball to stop. Overall a good test of my standard of golf. Club house was very good with very friendly locals. Will be happy to play again.
